Welcome to jutta gallery + experiential space
Established by Ronnie Peters in New York in 2013, jutta (pronounced like the state Utah) is a gallery specializing in contemporary art and design, located at the heart of Hudson Square, minutes walk from Tribeca, Soho and the West Village.
As a contemporary art gallery, Jutta is committed to showcasing bold, thought-provoking work from both emerging and established artists. We support a wide range of practices—from painting and sculpture to multimedia installation and digital experimentation—and provide a platform for voices that challenge, inspire, and expand the cultural conversation.
Beyond its physical gallery space, Jutta embraces the forefront of digital innovation by offering immersive virtual reality experiences and digital twins of exhibitions. The gallery has hosted live-streamed shows on platforms like Twitch and features projections and digital artworks that bridge the gap between traditional and digital mediums. This commitment to digital artistry has led to collaborations with industry leaders such as Disney, Apple, Amazon, Hulu, and National Geographic.
The gallery space itself is meticulously designed, featuring the same lighting system as the Whitney Museum, full climate control, 5G WiFi throughout, and a surround sound system to enhance the visitor experience. View this page for mages of the gallery space and floor plans.
Jutta is named in honor of Ronnie's mother whose love of art and creativity inspired his pursuit of the arts and design. He runs the gallery with his partner, media star and author Adama Sesay.
We welcome artists, galleries, and designers to connect and inquire about exhibiting in the space.
